This is an unusual, original Third Reich color Plan von Wien or Map of Vienna in German, English and French. It measures 5-½ x 10 inches and opens up to 20 x 22 inches! It was an advertising map given to customers of the Länderbank Wien (affiliated with Dresdner Bank since the 1938 Anschluss) and all their main and branch offices are clearly marked on the city map.

The outer panels of the map have tourist information in three languages, money changing tips for foreign travelers, a map of Nazi Germany (which already included Austria and the Sudetenland) showing finished and planned stretches of Hitler's Reichsautobahn.

There are very intersting explanations of the use of the Nazi "Frontier Certificate" and of "Tourist Marks" which could be purchased by foreigners at very low exchange rates.

When this brochure is completely unfolded there is a map of Wien (the second largest city of Hitler's Greater Germany) and its surrounding area showing the main sights: Schönbrunn, the Prater amusement park, City Hall, the Arsenal, the Wienerwald, Danube River, even the Central Cemetery with its Crematorium!

Printed by famous Nazi map company Freytag & Berndt, this Third Reich color Vienna city map is in good used condition.
