This is a little-known but very interesting and informative Third Reich publication printed prior to the German-Russian invasion of Poland, that was intended to explain to the German population why German expansion to the East in the future was going to be necessary.

This 5-¾ x 8-½ inch, 24-page softcover illustrated publication was written by Reichsamtsleiter der NSDAP Karl Motz and published in 1939 by the Central Publishing House of the Nazi Party, Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachfolger of Munich. Motz wrote quite a bit of educational material for the NSDAP, much of it related to agriculture in Nazi Germany. He was also the writer for two different Nazi movies, Blut und Boden (1933) and Altgermanische Bauernkultur (1934).

Landflucht - Exportpolitik und Ostraum-Idee is important idealogical preparation for planned German expansion to the East. Complete, 80 years old and in very good used condition. Discloration of the cover, no odor.

Landflucht - Exportpolitik und Ostraum-Idee (Rural Exodus - Export Politics and the Idea behind Expansion in the East) explains the need to increase German agriculture (not just German industries), the Four Year Plan, the consequences of the rural exodus for the German Nation, import end export numbers in England, creating a larger 'bread basket" for Germany and the importance of farmers, birthrates in cities and rural areas in Germany compared to Poland and Russia ("Growing or Perishing?"), population density, etc.
