These tiny examples of original Nazi medals and badges were manufactured during the Third Reich so that Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS veterans could wear their decorations on the lapels of civilian clothing. Each miniature is about 3/8 of an inch tall and is attached to a twisted stickpin almost 2 inches in length. As was the custom, combat badges were silver metal and while other medals like the Iron Cross or the Wound Badge were finished in appropriate colors.

As was often done with two medal sets, this Iron Cross First Class and Black Wound Badge were soldered together at the time they were attached to their twisted stickpin.
