This is a very nice example of the 1/4 x 7 inch, 110 page half-linen bound hard cover book Kompanie in Polen. It is book 2 in the series Die junge Ostmarkreihe by Erich Pechler and was published in Vienna in 1941. It tells the story in word and pictures of a company from the former Austria and their participation in the battle for Poland in 1939. The troops and tanks of the unit are seen being welcomed by the local citizens, dealing with very difficult off-road conditions and even mingling with Hitler after the victory.
