Adler (Eagle) magazine was the magazine of the Nazi Luftwaffe during the Third Reich. The magazine was also behind the design and marketing of this game, Adler-Luftkampfspiel (Eagle Air Battle Game). The beautiful board game comes packaged in a 8-5/8 x 12 inch box with complete original 4-page instructions, the appropriate quantity of blue and red aircraft and disk game pieces and three black dice necessary to play the game. It was produced by Verlag Hugo Gräfe of Dresden and originally cost RM 5.25.
The heavy chipboard game board unfolds to a size of 11-1/2 x 24 inches and depicts industrial targets on both sides of a river through the center.
This is a wonderful example of a Third Reich children's military game in splendid original condition. There is a split in one of the ends of the chipboard box cover, otherwise excellent condition.
