Because all the calendar pages of this informative 1941 Nazi wall calendar have beautiful color illustrations of historic German soldier uniforms through the ages, it is rare to find a complete one. Most original owners used some of the pages to decorate their barracks, offices or homes.

This calendar was produced by the well-known Allianz Insurance company and some of the pages of this Abrisskalender or tear-off calendar could also be used as a postcard to request information about Allianz Life Insurance policies, and there are coupons and advertising by Allianz as well, so finding one of these calendars complete is rare!

The 38 pages of Deutsches Soldatentum im Wandel der Zeiten Almanach 1941 (Historic Evolution of German Soldiers Almanac 1941) measure 5-7/8 x 8-3/8 inches and have pictures of German Knights and their armor, soldiers from the Kaiser era, World War I and of course, members of the different branches of the Wehrmacht: Fallschirmjäger, Panzertruppen, Kriegsmarine Matrose, Gebirgsjäger, Luftwaffe, Artillery and Infantry uniforms.

There are pages with historical information about various battles and wars, and the back panel has more advertising by Allianz Lebensversicherung AG (a huge and well-known insurance company still going strong today!) and the original hanging loop is still attached to the back cover. Rare, complete and in good used condition.
