Absolutely authentic, beautifully made New-Old-Stock German Wehrmacht Maskenbrille (eyeglasses frames) from World War II in unused condition. These glasses frames are made to accept round lenses 38 mm in diameter (about 1-1/2 inches). The all-metal frames have a matt grey finish. The well-made parts are held together with small screws. The brackets holding the grey cotton ear straps fold flat so you can put the glasses in your pocket.
These glasses are identical to those worn by the Waffen-SS Officer awarding the Iron Cross Second Class to the SS trooper in our picture directly below.
The same type was used by all branches of the German Wehrmacht during the Third Reich including the Waffen-SS, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Heer, etc. for prescription and sunglasses lenses. Have lenses made for your own prescription!
