This is a fine example of the 5-3/4 x 7-3/4 inch (folds to 3-7/8 x 5-3/4 inch), 4-panel identity document issued to members of the Nationalsozialistische Deutscher Marine-Bund (National Socialist German Navy League) within the NS-Reichskriegerbund (NS State War Veterans League).

The owner of this Nazi identity document number 40193 was Johann Fung who was enrolled in Düsseldorf on 1 January 1942. An unusual ID in very good condition. From the collection of Ray & Josephine Cowdery, authors of the full-color Third Reich identity document guidebook, “Papers Please!”
