KdF CRUISE HAMBURG - NORWAY PASSENGER BOOKLET AUGUST 1937
This original 1937 Nach Hamburg mit Kraft durch Freude passenger booklet is in fair condition.
This is an original heavily illustrated 80 year old booklet that was owned by a member of the National Socialist Community Kraft durch Freude or Strength through Joy (a unit of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) or German Labor Front) from Gau Baden who was a passenger on a KdF cruise on the Monte Sarmiento from Friday 13 August - Thursday 19 August 1937.
The front cover fold-out contains the trip schedule - a Hamburg harbor cruise, optional bus excursions, the five-day cruise to Norway as well as information on meals and border formalities.
The back cover fold-out has a map of Hamburg and Norway. Other pages contain photos and tourist information on the Hanseatic city of Hamburg and its harbor.
To perforated meal / excursion vouchers attached to the first two pages of this 6 x 8-¼ inch KdF cruise booklet were torn out and used by the original owner 80 years ago.
