FAMO-Werke automobile, tractor and truck display at the International Automobile Exhibition in Berlin
This is a rare March 1938 example of the in-house magazine of Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke AG of Dessau, the well-known manufacturer of the Ju52, Ju87 Stuka and Ju88 as well as airplane parts and engines. The 8-1/4 x 11-5/8 inch, 24-page magazine JUNKERS-NACHRICHTEN (Junkers News) with the Stephansdom cathedral in Vienna (decorated with Nazi swastika banners) on the cover is in the German and English language and August Dresler was responsible for the content.

This issue of JUNKERS-NACHRICHTEN contains illustrated articles about Junkers low-wing Monoplanes (Junkers J 7), the testing of aircraft materials, lathes for airplane engine production, the FAMO-Werke automobile, tractor and truck display at the International Automobile Exhibition in Berlin. Inside the back cover are photos of the unloading of commercial Ju 52 seaplanes in Rio de Janeiro, airplanes that were going to be used for air service between Montevideo (Uruguay) and Buenos Aires (Argentina). The Junkers J 7 and F 13 through the beautiful Ju 90 are pictured in this 78 year old company magazine, as is a South African Aerodrome (shown above).
