Another of the series of Professor Heinrich Hoffmann photo books produced during the Third Reich of German Chancellor Adolf Hitler is this 64 page, 7-1/2 x 10-1/2 inch softcover volume called Hitler in Seiner Heimat ("Hitler in His Home Land").

With dozens of spectacular full-page and half-page photos, this 1938 Zeitgeschichte-Verlag book follows Hitler on his triumphant visit his old homeland in Upper and Lower Austria immediately after the Anschluss or reunification of Austria with Germany in March 1938.

Original dust jacket has advertising for other Hoffmann Bildbände: Hitler wie ihn keiner kennt, Hitler abseits vom Alltag and others. The dust jacket shows some wear, but contents of this 69 year old book is in very good condition.

Shown at the right is a hard cover version of the same book Hitler in Seiner Heimat stamped with the name of its previous owner, the Salvator Hospital. The book is from the edition of 211,000 to 230,000 and in in very good condition.

There is a foreword by Reichs Press Chief Dr. Otto Dietrich and photos of Hitler and Hermann Göring, Hitler and Heinrich Himmler, Hitler and Rudolf Hess, Hitler at his parents grave in Leonding, Braunau, Linz, Melk, Wien, etc.
