This is a very nice original Third Reich example of Ausgewählte Reden des Führers 1938 (Selected Speeches of the Führer). This 5-5/8 x 8-1/4 inch, 116 page edition was published especially for members of the Luftwaffe by the Nazi Party publishing house, Zentralverlag der NSDAP Franz Eher Nachfolger of Munich in 1938.

The softcover book contains the text of several speeches Adolf Hitler gave during the September 1938 Reichsparteitag, the last Nazi Party Days in Nürnberg held during the Third Reich including his great Schlußrede or closing speech. Also included is Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Goering’s speech during the Parteitag Großdeutschland.

In addition to the 1938 Reichsparteitag Reden, this book also contains a 26 September speech by Adolf Hitler at the Sportpalast in Berlin, speeches from the time of the meeting between Germany, England, France and Italy which resulted in the Munich Agreement, the joint German-English declaration of the Munich Agreement, as well as Hitler’s 15th Putsch anniversary speech at the historic Bürgerbräukeller in Munich which ended with the words Unser Deutschland - Sieg Heil!

This 100% original Sonderausgabe für die Luftwaffe of “Selected Speeches of the Führer” is in nice used condition with a tight spine and no offensive odor. In pencil a previous owner wrote three lines of train or bus schedule times on the back cover.
