Hitler is shown with a swastika armband and his Iron Cross and Wound Badge on his uniform. This is the type of portrait that could be found on walls in factories and offices in Nazi Germany.

(left) This is an excellent 6 x 9 inch (18-1/2 x 22-1/2 cm) frameable commercial Third Reich halftone print of Adolf Hitler shown during a Nazi rally, surrounded by Nazi flags and standards while holding the Blood Flag. It is a highly specialized sort of portrait made to appeal to Party faithful.

As in America where portraits of Franklin Delano Roosevelt were commonplace during World War II, the likeness of the leader of Germany was to be found everywhere in that country. In virtual parallel with the FDR image in America, Hitler was seen as the man who brought the country back from the brink of disaster.
Artists, photographers and publishers were very quick to fill the need for likenesses of the Nazi Führer and Germany’s 23rd Chancellor, Adolf Hitler. While Heinrich Hoffmann was one of the premier sellers of Hitler portraits and scenes, he had plenty of competition for a place on the wall in every home and office in Nazi Germany.
The portrait prints and scenes offered on this web page are all absolutely guaranteed to be 100% original to Third Reich Germany. All were made and sold in Germany between 1930 and May of 1945. None of these prints is a latter day reproduction or copy.

The 6-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch print was attached to cardboard during the Third Reich. As you can see in our picture, the 7-3/4 x 10-3/4 inch cardboard has yellowed with age and shows use. However, the Hitler image itself is in very good condition.
