Volume Two of Der Angriff, called Wetterleuchten (Sheet Lighting or Diffused Summer Lightning) contains articles published in Goebbels’ anti-Jewish newspaper Der Angriff between 1928 and 1933; until just after the Nazi election victory in Germany. This 392-page hardcover book contains articles about what Goebbels called the continued uphill battle the Nazis faced in Germany, fighting Communist lies about the motives of the National Socialists, the fifth anniversary of Der Angriff newspaper, the miracle of the election results, etc. It contains lots of anti-Jewish rhetoric like Die Juden sind Schuld (The Jews are to Blame).

This is a hardcover Fifth Edition of Wetterleuchten (71,000 - 80,000 in print) with a red linen spine as published by the Nazi Party Central Publishing House, Verlag Franz Eher Nachfolger in 1943 (the First Edition had a copyright date of 1938).

This 80 year old example of Wetterleuchten is in very nice used condition, exactly as shown above. It has the stamps of a previous owner on the front flyleaf. Tight spine, no odor. While many Dr. Goebbels Nazi propaganda books are offered for sale on the websites of German book dealers, we do not ship this sort of material to Germany or to most EU countries.

The original Third Reich German language book for sale on this USMBOOKS web page was written by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Volksaufklärung und Propaganda (National Enlightenment and Publicity) and Gauleiter of Berlin.

Dr. Goebbels founded and published a very anti-Jewish Nazi newspaper called Der Angriff (The Attack) with articles written from a strictly National Socialist point of view about members of the early Nazi Movement, persecution of early National Socialists, Jewish control of the economy in Germany, Hitler - the man of the future, etc. He also published two books using the same subtitle and this is the second volume of that set.
