This specific example of the book der Führer in Weimar 1925 - 1938 is special in yet another way. Pasted inside the front cover is a 6 x 8 inch slip of paper presenting the book to an anonymous woman of the Gau and Kreis Leadership at a gathering in Weimar on 30 April 1940. The presentation slip bears the facsimile signature of Gauleiter and Reichsstatthalter Fritz Sauckel. |
