NAZI ORDENSBURGEN
Nazi forged photos
This lot consists of 41 very rare original examples of Facts in Review, the heavily illustrated American-English language magazine as published in 1940 and 1941 by the German Library of Information in New York, New York, USA. Each magazine measures 8-1/2 x 11 inches and most issues contain from about 8 to 36 well-illustrated pages of the very latest news, politics, war, new products, movies, books, art, aviation, the military, science, historical overviews, and general information about Germans, Americans, Russians, British and other people as well as Germany from the point of view of the Nazi leadership of that country. Some issues contain a radio guide listing programs broadcast in English from Berlin to North America. Another regular feature is "What Germany Hears and Says", an excellent recap of news from Germany written in superb American-English.
Individual issues of Facts in Review are very, very hard to find of course, as no one in America wanted to own or be seen reading one after Germany declared war on the United States in December 1941. We have noticed that copies occasionally turn up on internet auction sites selling for as much as $100.00 each or more! A large, nearly complete lot of Facts in Review magazines in nice used condition such as we offer here, is virtually unobtainable today.
