This is a fine letter perfect undated reprint by Benchmark Publishing of the book DACHAU as originally published in 1945 by the G-2 Section of the 7th US Army in Europe.
The book provides a history of Konzentrationslager Dachau or Dachau Concentration Camp just north of Munich in Bavaria that was gathered from the International Prisoners Committee which explains the inmate composition, organization of the Nazi camp, labor allocation of prisoners, the physical layout of the camp, the towns people of Dachau, life at Dachau, experimental stations, executions, conclusions and a report on the liberation on Sunday 29 April 1945.
Original examples of this book were printed on very poor quality paper by the 649th Engr Topo Battalion in Europe and are almost invariably in very bad condition when found. Even the Benchmark reprint of the original book is now obscure and hard to find. Very good used condition.

The 8 x 10-1/2 inch 68 page book is filled with photographs and data complied on the scene in 1945 over the signature of William W. Quinn, Colonel, G.S.C., AC of S, G-2, 7th U.S. Army. The Summary at the beginning of this book was compiled by the OSS Section, 7th Army.
