This is a very rare original example of the 8-1/4 x 11-1/2 inch 16 page soft cover Anschrift-Verzeichnis der Schutzstaffel der NSDAP or Address Directory of the SS of 15 May 1941 as published strictly for service use by Kommandoamt der Allgemeine-SS at Kaiserallee 188 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf.
The first couple of pages list all the Dienststellen or Administrative Offices of the SS and their departments along with their addresses and phone numbers, starting with the office of the Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler. The SS Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt is shown as located on Hedemannstrasse 23-24 in Berlin with a phone number 19 52 51 while its daughter organization Verein ,,Lebensborn’’ eV is shown as located on Herzog-Max-Strasse 3-7 in München with a phone number of 13 114-16. The phone number of SS-Schule Haus Wewelsburg was 30 and Das schwarze Korps in Berlin could be reached by dialing 11 00 22.
After the SS Diensstellen come the Ergänzungsstellen or supplementary SS offices located all over the Greater German Reich from Nordost in Königsberg to Südwest in Stuttgart as well as those in the Protectorate of Böhmen und Mähren (SS-Abschnitt XXXIX).
While this rare SS directory appears to be rather small it contains over 275 separate listings of SS offices throughout the Greater Germany of Adolf Hitler.

Publication information on the back cover indicates that 7000 copies of this directory were printed in June of 1941. The directory is bound with removable brass binders and all the pages have been beautifully laminated to protect this 68 year old rare book from crumbling.
