| The SS Leitheft (SS Leadership Magazine) was published monthly in Third Reich Germany from 1934 onward to be circulated among professional SS Officers. It was published by the Main Office of the Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler in Berlin and printed by M. Müller und Sohn in Berlin.
Any issue of the magazine must be considered rare, and those published in the German language (such as this one) are particularly desirable.

| Each issue of SS Leitheft contained historical and ideological material specifically aimed at the officer corps of the Allgemeine SS and Waffen SS. Typically informative articles and inspirational photographs were interspersed throughout the 6-3/8 x 9 inch, 36 page Nazi magazine with quotations from Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler and other SS leaders. |

This particular issue contains articles about "German Settlements on the Black Sea", "The Path of a Warrior", "Twins and Race", "Of Right and Wrong" and several reports from SS war correspondents. The 17 photos on this issue include one of the Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler giving a floral bouquet to a Ukrainian girl, a SS combat food carrier fighting mosquitos in the East, SS men in Russia, an ancient Germanic crown, Krim (Crimea), twins (German and American!), beautiful women, etc.
Very good original condition.
