This is an absolutely authentic piece of Third Reich display advertising in very good condition. It is a multi-color chipboard show card measuring just over 9 x 12-3/4 inches, depicting SA manufactured Trommler brand cigarettes from Dresden, Germany.
Nazi cigarette advertising
The show card is printed on heavy chipboard with a separate easel attached to the back. The show card may be hung on a string from a hole punched in the top part of the easel attachment, or the easel may be folded out and locked in place with a die-cut element made for that purpose. The easel has never been folded open.

This show card shows some wear from storage only. The varnish surface has some crazing from age. Overall it is in excellent condition. Any sort of point of purchase display advertising from the Third Reich is very rare today. Advertising for SA branded consumer products, and especially tobacco products, is virtually impossible to find more than 60 years after it was produced.
