This is a fine original First Edition example of the rare 7-1/4 x 10 inch, 112 page, very heavily illustrated soft cover book Von Sieben Mann Zum Volk (From Seven Men to a Nation) by Wilhelm Fanderl as published by Verlag Gerhard Stalling in Oldenburg i. O., Germany in May 1933. It is from the rare First Edition of 1 - 10,000.

Von 7 Mann Zum Volk traces the history of the Nazi Party over a 14 year period to victory in national elections in 1933. That covers the period from the time that the Deutscher Arbeiter Partei (DAP) had only seven members, of which Adolf Hitler was member number 5 (the membership cards are shown on the cover of the book).

The last 30 or so pages depict a very different, determined and politically successful group of men ready and able to take over the reigns of government in the chaos of Germany in 1933.

The interior pages of this 90 year old book are in excellent condition. The original color dust jacket of this example of Von 7 Mann Zum Volk shows wear which is clearly visible in the picture near the top of this USMBOOKS web page.   A very rare and hard-to-find book, in very good little-used condition, tight spine, no odor. 

Following a foreword by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, the new Reichsminister für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda (State Minister for National Community Clarification and Publicity), the book shows the earliest venues and members of the earliest days of Hitler and the Nazi Party, complimented by a very upbeat text. The obscure early photos (many by Heinrich Hoffmann) show the party Standards, uniforms, flags, equipment, weapons, meetings and leaders at a time when almost no one in Germany or around the world took them seriously.
