This is a very nice 6 x 8-1/2 inch, 48 page softcover photo documentary that nicely explains the Krupp Germaniawerft (Germania Wharf) shipyards at Kiel-Gaarden where many notable Nazi Kriegsmarine ships and submarines were built. This book was produced for the company in the late 1930s to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the shipyard and the 100th year of the corporation in Essen, along with many other milestones.
There is quite a bit of information and at least 13 photographs related to U-Boote alone. There is also a picture of a tribute to Rudolf Diesel and photographs of diesel motors produced at Krupp over the previous 40 years.
