This is a small but rare Liederblatt der Hitler-Jugend Um Weihnachten (Hitler Youth Song Brochure “Around Christmas”).

The 5-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch brochure opens to 10-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches and has three pages containing five different Hitler Youth Christmas songs. Published by Georg Kallmeyer Verlag of Wolfenbüttel and Berlin.

UNSER TROMMELBUBE - OUR DRUM BOY

Unser Trommelbube (Our Drum Boy) by Hans Baumann is a soft cover Hitler Youth song book published in 1934 by Ludwig Voggeneither Verlag of Potsdam. It measures 4-1/2 x 6-3/4 inches, contains 48 pages and still has its original Third Reich dust jacket with an illustration by Willi Diernhöfer.

After a short Introduction that explains why the particular songs in this book were selected to be published, Unser Trommelbube contains the lyrics for Hitler Youth songs such as Siegslied (Victory Song), Wir werden weitermarschieren (We will march on), Der Trommelbube (The Drum Boy), Schwurlied der deutschen Bube (Oath Song of the German Boy), Mein Vater war ein guter Soldat (My father was a good soldier), Unseren Toten (Our Deceased), Der Herr Napoleon (Mr. Napoleon), and many others.

This rare original HJ songbook is in very good condition. The internal pages are in near-new condition and the original 75 year old dust jacket shows only minor wear.

This lot consists of volume 1, 2 and 3 of Wir schreiten über die Straßen - Lieder der Hitlerjugend (We Parade across the Streets - Songs of the Hitler Youth) published for the Hitlerjugend of Württemburg by Verlag der Union of Stuttgart, Berlin and Leipzig.

These soft cover HJ song books contain the lyrics and musical notes to Hitler Youth songs such as Das Lied der HJ, Das letzte Aufgebot, Der Tod, Jungvolk voran!, Die Trommel, Kanon, Vorwärts Vorwärts!, and many others.

Campy drawings accompany the lyrics, and each volume has a detailed index inside the back cover.

While the covers are faded a bit, the internal pages of these three rare Hitler Youth song books are in excellent condition.

This excellent original example of the original Third Reich song book Uns geht die Sonne nicht unter (The Sun will Never Set on Us) as published by Obergebiet West der Hitler-Jugend in 1938.

The 4-1/4 x 5-3/4 inch, 176 page, well illustrated soft cover book contains the words and music to dozens and dozens of songs basic to the Nazi Movement over the next decade, from Deutschland, Deutschland über Alles, to the Horst Wessel Lied, all the well-known songs are there in a compact volume.

This example has a name written on the front fly leaf and a few notes inside, both in pencil.

This lot consists of three excellent hard bound, linen covered books, the Liederblatt der HJ or Song Sheets of the Hitler Youth.

The three matching 5-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch, 60 or so page books are the rare 1935, 1936 and 1937 editions of the Liederblatt der Hitler Jugend by Bannführer Wolfgang Stumme and published for the Reichjugendführung (Nazi Youth Leadership) by Georg Kallmeyer Verlag in Wolfenbüttel and Berlin.

In each of these three annual volumes, Stumme (Musical Director of the Reichjugendführung) “assembled an invaluable collection of the music of the New Order” for use by the young men and women of the New Germany. Each volume contains words and music for 26 sets of selections comprising perhaps 75 songs (over 200 songs in the three volumes). The 1937 book is illustrated with 12 excellent Hitler Youth woodcuts.
