H.J. Marschiert! - Das neue Hitler-Jugend Buch (HJ Marches - The New Hitler Youth Book) is a heavily illustrated 6-1/4 x 9 inch, 384 page educational hard cover book by Wilhelm Fanderl as published by Paul Franke Verlag in Berlin. It contains 112 images plus four striking ones in color as well as two facsimile letters. The tan linen covered book is undated but we estimate is was published in late 1933 or 1934.
H.J. Marschiert! - Das neue Hitler-Jugend Buch was advertised as “a lively new perspective of the Hitler Youth and its place in the New Germany.” After a full-page, full-color picture of Adolf Hitler, it teaches Hitler Youth boys and girls about Hitler’s new Germany, its government, the Armed Forces, the history and development of the HJ, the Nazi Party and its history, organizational details of the SS and SA, etc.
There is a chapter called “Who is Adolf Hitler?” and one about Hitler’s alpine home Haus Wachenfeld outside Berchtesgaden. That chapter includes a photo of Adolf Hitler and Hermann Göring on the terrace of Haus Wachenfeld which would later be renamed Der Berghof.
There are contributions by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Hitler Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach, Hermann Esser, Gauleiter Wilhelm Kube, Heinz Otto, Dagobert Dürr, Kurt Fervers, Gauleiter Julius Streicher, Prinz August-Wilhelm von Preussen (Auwi), and many others.

This book also teaches HJ members morse code and includes several riddles and crossword puzzles (all filled in with pencil).

This example of H.J. Marschiert! - Das neue Hitler-Jugend Buch is from the 41. - 50.000 printing and has the rare original dust jacket which was laminated to preserve it. Please note: pages 63, 64, 65 and 66 were removed and the name of the missing chapter was crossed out on the Index pages. That chapter was named Stabschef Röhm an die Jugend (Chief of Staff Röhm to the Youth)! No wonder the pages were removed!
All four striking color plates are present in this historical Hitlerjugend book. Very good used condition.
