DER PIMPF (The DJ Boy) This is a nice example of the 6-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch, 40 page very heavily illustrated soft cover March 1938 issue of Der Pimpf, a Nazi magazine for the Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ or German Young People), the youngest boys in the Hitlerjugend (HJ or Hitler Youth).
The magazine contains illustrated articles about huge Nazi building projects like the Adolf Hitler Schools, youth activities, flag code signals, Africa, travel to the North Pole, a Pour Le Mérite flier, a mine in Arizona, etc. Nice ads for air rifles, Ahnenpasses, bicycles, musical instruments, etc. Very good condition.

DAS JUNGE DEUTSCHLAND (Youthful Germany) A nice example of the rare 6-3/8 x 9 inch, 24 page soft cover March 1942 Nazi social-political magazine for the Reichsjugendführung (National Youth Leaders). There is a very interesting article on German youth and Lebensraum in “the East.” Another long and fascinating article deals with the question of disciplinary arrest of HJ members. The ads in this magazine are mostly for guns - Mausser, Walther and Gustloff. Very good condition.

DAS JUNGE REICH (The Youthful Nation) This lot of three magazines includes the November 1941, June 1942 and March 1943 issues of Das Junge Reich, a serious Nazi monthly for older teens published for the Culture Office of the City of Wien (Vienna), the second largest city in Grossdeutschland.
The 8-1/4 x 10-3/4 inch, 32 or 40 page well-illustrated magazines cotain excellent articles about German history, Wehrmacht and SS combat units at the front, new motion pictures, etc.
There are articles about the Battle of Stalingrad, the Japanese Armed Forces, the Eastern front, etc. The magazines have advertising for all sorts of products ranging from uniform cloth and books to Nazi flags. Of very special interest is an advertisement for volunteers to join the Waffen-SS which explains the qualifications for special untis such as the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler (LSSAH), and the considerable amount of content written by SS personnel.

A rare Nazi magazine with a circulation of only 28,200, this is the May 1939 issue containing articles about the History of the City of Soest, the Hitler Youth Law of 1936, etc.
Fifteen pages of excellent advertising for everything from Mauser rifles to tents and Hitlerjugend insigne.
