This is a nice original example of the rare 6-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch, 28 page very heavily illustrated book Aus der Kulturarbeit der Hitler-Jugend that depicts the cultural work of the Hitler Youth. It was published by the Zentraverlag der NSDAP Franz Eher Nachfolger in München probably in 1942.
Supplemented by quotations from Reichsjugendführer Artur Axmann and Baldur von Schirach, the mostly full-page photos show young women and men of the Hitlerjugend engaged in cultural pursuits from music to handicrafts, and drama to dancing. There are interior and exterior views of HJ facilities and even a photo of a group of girls called the “Joyful Seven” performing live on Deutschsender (the German Radio Network).
