This is a nice original example of a genuine red, white and black Nazi armband. It consists of a 17 inch loop of heavy wool (overcoat) material 4-3/4 inches wide with a separate white circle of vertical grosgrain material with a black grosgrain swastika sewed in the center. There is a seam in the center of the back opposite the swastika where the ends are sewed together. This is the type of armband worn on brown Nazi Party uniforms.
There is a small amount of residue on the back side ONLY, apparently paste with which it was held in a scrapbook. We tried washing one small spot with bottled water and the residue came off completely. Very good condition.
