GERMANY and YOU magazine was published during the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler in Germany in the English language by SS Publishing House Wiking Verlag in Berlin. The 9 x 12-1/2 inch heavily illustrated monthly was aimed directly at the populations of England and the United States and was very careful to package news and information about Germany in a way American and British readers would appreciate.
While each issue contains some “soft” news, much of what GERMANY and YOU had to say was written to convince the reader of the general superiority of German products, Germany as a destination and the correctness of the German diplomatic / military position relative to current events. The magazine was very anti-Jewish.
Each of the magazines listed below has several minor but virtually identical vertical folds through it. Those folds do not detract from the information or photographs in the magazines, but need to be mentioned. Otherwise, the magazines are in very good condition, complete with original enclosures.
