This colorful historic Nazi map was printed after Germany and Austria became one country after the Spring 1938 Anschluß. It covers a large part of the Großdeutschland or Greater Germany of 1939:
Göppingen (east of Stuttgart) and Ulm in the upper left hand corner, Davos in Switzerland in the lower left corner, Vienna, Preßburg and Sopron on the right hand side of the map. In between are interesting and picturesque places such as München (Munich), Landsberg, Bad Tölz, Berchtesgaden and the Obersalzberg, Tirol, Salzburg, Braunau, Linz, Graz, Budweis, Passau, Regensburg, etc.

The Nazi Strassenkarte shows all the Reichsautobahn sections that were under construction and completed in 1939, distances, alpine passes, toll roads, ferries, very small country roads, etc., all explained in German, English, Spanish, Italian and French.

The portion of the map above shows Munich, the Capital of the Nazi Movement, its suburb Dachau and Bad Tölz (SS Junker Schule) near the bottom edge.

This full-color map was printed for members of the DDAC (Der Deutsche Automobilclub), the German Auto Club in 1939. Folded out, it measures 19 x 36-½ inches (each panel measures 5-1/2 x 9-1/2 inches). While the original cover is a bit dirty, the original 83 year old map itself is in nice used condition. No taped folds, no odor!
