Better than any of the more common books on the 1936 Olympic Games in Nazi Germany, these two provide a very straight-forward examination of the venues, events and athletes supplemented with many, many photos not found elsewhere. The photos and text regarding the black athletes from America would give any objective person reason to question why so many books and TV programs today insist that they were treated badly or shunned by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
